Jamaican Stew

From my Dads notebook, apparently based on "Levi Root's brown stew sauce"

Ingredients

Method

  1. Cook onion and garlic with a little salt until onion is translucent
  2. Add soy sauce, then tomato puree, stirring over head for a minute after each.
  3. Add water, oregano, stock and all spice
  4. Add meats
  5. When cooked, add chilli powder and lemon, then cornflour and a little water
  6. Bring to boil, let thicken and serve with rice
