Chilli
Ingredients
- 1 onion (finely diced)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely diced)
- 1 tin of tomatoes
- tomato puree
- 1 tbsp of cocoa
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cummin
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 or more "meats" e.g. mushrooms, quorn mince
- beans and vegetables, pepper, kidney beans, black eyed beans, carrot,
Optionally
- 1 tsp stock
Method
- Fry the onion until browning and soft, then add the garlic
- Add tinned tomatoes and "a lil' squirty squirt" of puree
- Add all spices, chilli last if you're reusing the spoon
- Adjust spices, add salt, pepper and stock to taste
- Optionally, blend
- Add vegetables, beans and meats, you want enough that its more filling that sauce. It should be a semi-solid.
Notes
Put in wrap to make a burrito, flatten with sandwich grill. Use smashed avocado or guac as a replacement for yoghurt.
